Yes on 8!!!

Everyone better vote YES on Prop 8...

...or I'll be soooo sad!

I took these next pictures so I can prove to Lila that she was politically active from the age of 2 months.  I think she's destined to be President.  She's so disappointed that she's not old enough to vote for Prop 8.  My mom had soooooore arms after this sign waving adventure (she did most of the baby holding).  Holding a 12 lb. baby in one arm and waving a sign in the other can be quite tiring!

I think Lila's had enough political activity for a while because she wasn't very happy waiting in the car for four hours as we put Yes on 8 door hangers on houses yesterday.  Byron was at it from 9 until 3:30 and Lila and I joined him around 11:30.  I was amazed at how many people had already voted...the news isn't lying about the huge numbers of people voting early.  I hope they're voting yes!

P.S.--Lila has slept in her crib in her own room for the past two nights.  She's getting so old!  She's a GREAT sleeper at night (surprising after experiencing the first 5 weeks of her life).  Last night she slept from 10:30 until 7, I fed her for 30 mins, and she slept in our bed from 7:30 until 10:15 (9:15 with the time change).  Wow!!!  Almost 12 hours of sleep!
