A few weeks ago we had a professional photographer, Sharon Cooley (who we LOVE), come to our house to take some newborn pics of Lila. I wanted to take newborn pictures right after she was born, but when I was looking for a photographer at the end of my pregnancy it seemed like everyone I liked was just waaaaaay too expensive. Then when Lila was a few weeks old, Byron's boss sent him an email telling him about a photographer she uses for her kids and how great AND affordable she is. Sharon even gives her customers a CD of all the pictures she takes...what a plus! Not many photographers actually give customers the right to make their own prints of the photos they take. Well we set up an appointment with Sharon and she was absolutely fabulous! Click here to see some of Lila's pics. I already added one to the sidebar of our blog. These pictures were taken right when she really started to smile a lot. What a cutie!

What wonderful pictures! I'm still wondering why I didn't do this with Nathan. You'll love those even more as she grows and changes.
