The joys of winter in San Diego

Irresistible, I know. We spent a morning at Mission Bay Park.  So fun!

No, we didn't get a dog, but we met my friend Shona and her husband, who recently moved down to San Diego (San Marcos) and their cute little dog Diezel at the dog beach.  I swear those dogs looked like they were in doggy paradise.
It was in the 80's last week, so we took Lila swimming for the first time in our pool.  She looked absolutely adorable in her little swimsuit.  She liked being in the water just as much as she likes anything else.  I don't think she even really realized she was in water; it was just like being anywhere to her.  The cutest thing is how her little bum and legs automatically float right up. It's impossible to keep her under! I guess that's one advantage of having 99% body fat!

I love your pictures. The one of the beach looks like a postcard. I actually thought it was at first. And I am SO jealous! It looks like so much fun. Jamie was all geared up to go swimming the other day when she found her little swimmer diapers. She was quite disappointed when I told her it was too cold outside.
