Lily's 1st Birthday

No, Lila hasn't grown quite that much yet.  She was invited to this little cutie's birthday party last Saturday.
Lily did a great job of diving into her cake and helping us get some great messy face pictures.  Her mom Angela was prepared and got her ready to dump in the bath before she gave her the cake.  Good thinking.
What a fun bunch!  Lila should be a more appreciative party guest in a year or so.  Can you tell she's sort of in her own world?  She's the tiny one on the left.
She had a great time hanging out in this little baby seat/saucer thing.  She didn't quite get the whole idea of standing up in it though; she just sort of hung her feet back behind her through the leg holes.  It definitely seemed to keep her entertained for a while.  I'm now searching for one on craigslist (I'm addicted).
We had a great time hanging out with the other party guests and their parents!

gotta love the exersaucers! Max just tried out his for the first time today. I picked mine up at a garage sale for $10, best $10 I ever spent!

Ha ha, no he is not standing by himself in the tub. Elliot is in there with him, holding him up. I thought it would be pretty awkward if I showed Elliot in the picture. We'll buy our plane tickets today and just plan on picking us up at the airport sometime next week!

Hey Sister! I'm so glad you found my blog, cause that led me to yours. Blogs are a lot more fun to keep up with than facebook for sure. Your little girl is SO SO SO cute! though that's no surprise since her mom's beautiful, too. I miss you too!
