Lindsay!

My sister Lindsay came into town from Virginia on Monday, so when Byron went back to San Diego for work, I stayed with Lila in L.A. until Wednesday. She teaches at a Montessori school and it was her Spring Break. Her birthday was on the 9th, so we had a little celebration for her on Monday night.

On Tuesday we went bowling (I was AWFUL!), went to the park, played bocce ball in the backyard, ate at Marie Calendar's, and just had an overall fun time visiting. Lila was super funny at Marie Calendar's. We recently bought one of those baby chairs that hooks to the side of the table (we don't have room for a regular high chair in our apartment) so I brought it up to L.A. and we used it at the restaurant. She LOVED being the center of attention (we were sitting at a round booth surrounding her) and couldn't stop staring at our waiter Reuben. She was seriously looking him up and down every time he came to our table and she even turned around to look at him if she heard his voice at another table nearby! What a funny baby. She loved eating some little pieces of cornbread and avocado off our plates too.

Lindsay has always been the best with babies and Lila took to her pretty much immediately without her standard "breaking in" time. It was so much fun to see her and I wish she lived closer!
