Essentials

Lila went through a short phase where she started wanting to bring "stuff" with us anytime we went anywhere. It started with her doll one day, maybe a blanket the next, then her doll and the doll stroller, and then... well, let's just say things got a little out of hand.

One day she decided she couldn't carry everything she needed to bring on our car ride so she decided to pack up in her laundry basket.

She was heading out the door to the garage when I let her know she needed to pare things down to just the bare essentials.
Here she is sizing up her load.
And here it is, only the necessities for a car drive to the store: 3 baby dolls, a toy dog and carrying case, and a bunch of other small random stuff in the bottom I don't remember.

What are we going to do when we go on family vacations when she's a teenager? I sure hope luggage fees don't go up.

I love this!! She is too to funny! Of course you have to pack enough just in case you might need a baby doll or a toy dog, you never know when they might come in handy :)
