Our sensitive girl

The other day we were watching Jungle Book. I don't know how well you remember the story, but in the beginning a baby gets left in the jungle, found by a panther, and given to a wolf family to raise. When Lila saw the baby alone (and later with animals) she got so, so worried, sad, and upset, that she literally started crying saying, "Baby needs its mommy! Baby needs its daddy!" over and over again. When I tried to reassure her that the doggies/wolves were going to take care of the baby, she was insistent that no, "Baby needs another mommy!"

I had to skip over to the part where the Mogli (spelling?) is a young boy instead of a baby, but Lila was still upset and kept asking "Where'd baby go?" I finally appeased her by saying the baby was back with his mommy and daddy. She stopped crying.

Then a couple days later Byron showed Lila this musical montage with scenes from the Disney movie Tarzan (I've never seen it). Well, it's a similar story and Lila once again was super distraught about the baby being left alone.

Who knew our stubborn little girl had such a sensitive heart?

Awwww, so sweet. Poor lil worried Lila. You should see Tarzan but fash forward it to when he's a little boy not a baby, b/c he's raised by gorilla's. What a lil sweetie :)
