Beach Day

We had a super fun beach day with some friends a few weeks ago.

Cal had a blast playing with the seaweed, but this giant marsh proved to be a bit much for him as you can tell by the look on his face.

The kids were so sweet with each other in the water.  They held hands and jumped over waves for a long time.  Miles kept falling down, but Lila would just help him right back up.  I love that these two are best friends.  Miles is going to have a really hard adjustment when his best bud starts kindergarten in  August.  

Lila rode a boogie board by herself for the first time and did absolutely amazing!  She caught on to it right away and rode a ton of waves.  I was very impressed considering she isn't the most adventurous and can be a little scared to try new things like this.  She just jumped right in and had a blast!

We are so lucky to live in San Diego!
