It's alive!!!
So this week I felt the baby move for the first time! I kept looking, well feeling, for those "butterfly flutters" everyone describes. That's not exactly how it feels for me, but after feeling the same thing repetitively over a period of a few days, I'm 100% that yes, it's the baby! It kind of feels like...well...something moving inside of me. I guess that makes a lot of sense when you think about it. It's really, really exciting to feel like there's actually a little guy or girl moving around and hopefully having a good time in there. I can't wait until I can actually feel a kick and then even see one. I'll definitely let you know when that happens!

Ashley! I'm glad you're back to blogging. I've checked it periodically since I last saw you but no updates until now. Congratulations on the baby!! And how great that you'll be back in Southern CA near your family - I'm sure your mom is thrilled. Did you beat your sister to a baby?

It didn't feel like a butterfly flutter for me either :) You're right though, once it happens a couple of times then you know. I'm sure Byron can't wait until he can feel the baby move too.
