Homeownership

We bought a house. That we love. That needs work.

A few pics of a day working out in the yard. That's one of the fun things about not being in an apartment. We can spend a day working out in the yard.

Miles has turned into quite the daredevil as you can tell.

A third of the backyard (which actually isn't very big, but big enough for us) was concrete blocks put together into some sort of planters. We want to plant grass so we took a bunch of them out. Byron claims he broke this concrete trim with his bare hands. I think there must have been some sort of preexisting fissure or weak point.

The concrete block pile that has since gotten a lot larger and now includes many bricks that were randomly strewn about the front and back yards. Anyone need some concrete blocks?

P.S. Come visit us now that we have a house. We have a guest room that will hopefully have a bed soon. Who wouldn't want to visit San Diego? And if you live in San Diego, who wouldn't want to have a sleepover?

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! YEA! So happy for you guys! Where is your new house at? I hope you're closer to us!! :) Actually, we would LOVE to take those concrete blocks off of your hands (if they're still available)! We have a massive hill in our back yard that we are going to tier off with retaining walls and those concrete blocks would be awesome! Let me know if you still need them gone :)
